Description

The OpusX Lost City cigar, a rare and extraordinary cigar born out of the collaboration between actor/director Andy Garcia and legendary cigar maker Carlito Fuente. The idea for the cigar emerged during the production of Garcia’s movie, “The Lost City,” which portrays the struggles of a Cuban family during the Castro revolution. While scouting for a location to shoot a poignant scene on a Cuban tobacco farm, Garcia met Carlito Fuente, who generously offered to plant a tobacco crop for the film.

Originally intended as a backdrop for the movie, the tobacco crop turned out to be exceptional after five years of careful aging. Carlito Fuente, impressed by the quality, agreed to use it to create a cigar with the logo from “The Lost City.” The project aimed to benefit the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation, providing education and health services in the Dominican Republic. The resulting Fuente Fuente OpusX The Lost City cigar offers a distinctive experience for cigar connoisseurs, featuring a medium-to-full body and complex, sophisticated flavors inherited from the original Fuente Fuente OpusX wrapper.
